The Client: Scarborough Ensuite

The Brief: Set against natural bushland and overlooking the ocean in Scarborough, this beautiful home called for a thoughtful, modern update. The brief was to introduce more light while remaining true to the home’s organic, earthy aesthetic and its strong connection to nature. With a compact footprint, careful planning ensured the space was maximised, creating a functional, light-filled design that feels both contemporary and harmonious with its surroundings.

The Result: A considered mix of textures was used throughout, with gloss finishes introduced to enhance light and concrete elements grounding the space. A soft palette of sage green and white was paired with refined nickel finishes to create balance and cohesion. By removing the shower walls and opening up the layout where possible, natural light was maximised and reflected throughout the space.
