McCauleys, Bulli
The Client: McCauleys, Bulli
The Brief: The brief was to update the existing furnishings to better complement the room’s mid-century aesthetic. To add comfort yet with function in mind. We worked on the dining room as well as the wardrobes and spare bedroom.
The Result: Working with the space we had and the existing living room and kitchen we replaced the original stone furniture, which felt out of place, with pieces more in keeping with the overall style. The heavy, patterned curtains were also swapped out for lighter, more refined window treatments that enhanced the rooms character. Comfortable yet practical dining chairs were selected with consideration of space and walk way to the outside area.
An outdated pendant light was replaced with two more elegant and cohesive lighting fixtures and a brass soft curved mirror completed the transformation.
